HELLO OUT THERE FROM IN HERE

A Letter to Someone Once, Hoping Without Saying So

I do not have to hope you will be well in the freezing-time of Idaho, knowing you know more about the weather than the weather knows itself.  Here, it is not as cold as there, but I have succumbed to using a bit of heat when the temperature gets down into the 50s as it was this morning, being careful not to indulge too much in the softness that heat encourages, leaving it low and using only the downstairs floor heater. During the day it goes up to the mid-70s.  The thermostat, being set lower than that will not waste gas and cajole too much. I guess that’s about all I have to say for now, sensing you do not like to say too much about what has been said. LMK when you’re out here if you’re still so inclined, and how to say hello in person.
